According to Nielsen’s research, 51,8% of USA’s smartphone owners has an Android while iOS is responsible for 34,3% and others such as RIM, Windows Phone, Symbian and Palm OS hit the rest of the users.
Besides that, the study shows that in the past 3 months 2 out of 3 Americans who bought a new mobile phone opted for a smartphone and between them the majority, 54,6%, acquired an Android. Wow right? You can view the research on Nilsen’s website.
